* Mount your TV to the wall. This will prevent any possibility of the TV tipping over

* If it isnt possible to mount the TV to the wall, ensure it is safely secured to a sturdy piece of furniture which cannot tip over

* Remove items that might tempt children to climb onto the furtniture. 

* Ensure all electrical cords or out of reach of children
